Greetings from Moscow in the precious name of our Lord Jesus!
Since our return to Russia, I have twice visited the head office of our association in St. Petersburg. TBN Russia is expanding throughout this country and many other nations at a rate that is overwhelming to the natural mind.
More and more households are able to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ directly into their homes. You will recall that this is a key element in our strategy to see churches planted across Russia and the former Soviet Union (see "21st Century Roman roads to the glory of God!"). Here are the facts:
This morning I felt led to remind everyone of Mission Russia's vision: A Church in Every City, Town and Village. In other words, the aim of everything we do is CHURCH PLANTING.
Whether you are part of the full-time Mission Russia missionary team, a prayer supporter, financial supporter or friend of Mission Russia in any way, let us keep in mind that church planting is the BOTTOM LINE.
With 39 000 cities, towns and villages in Russia, the work has only started! Let us move together in unity and with purpose to see this vision, given by God, fulfilled.
In Him

Persecution!

Dear Friends
The following letter from the president of our association in Russia, Igor Nikitin, is an urgent call to prayer for the church in Russia. As we are experiencing an anticipation in the spiritual world of what God is about to do in Russia, we also see a sharp increase in persecution.
What the enemy is intending for harm, God will turn about for His glory!
Be sure that God is hearing your prayers for Russia. Imagine the voices of the children of God worldwide going up to His throne in prayer. He WILL hear and He WILL answer!
All of this is part of the process to prepare churches in Russia to grow tenfold and even hundredfold.
"Then His fame went throughout all Syria..." "Great multitudes followed Him..." (Mat. 4:24, 25)
It is no accident that Jesus Christ came to the earth during the era of the mighty Roman Empire. Apart from having a strong army, the Romans were famous for building roads so good that even today some of them are still in existence.
Ambitious Roman Caesars built these roads for their own purposes, but God had a divine purpose: preparing the way for the disciples of Jesus Christ to spread the Good News across the Empire!
“Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Mat. 6:10) “And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.” (Acts 5:42)
Matthew 6 verse 10 is the foundation for everything that we do. To see the Father’s will be done on earth as in heaven is a very radical truth that requires great revelation and faith to comprehend.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes..." (Rom. 1:16a)
"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?" (Rom. 10:14-15a)
