The Revelation and the Application of the Kingdom Mountain for the purpose of expanding the Kingdom of God in Russia and beyond (v.1.1)
Kingdom Mountain refers to the Kingdom of God depicted as a huge mountain that eventually filled the earth - See Daniel 2:35 and 44. The foundational scripture is Mat 6:10: "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
Our goal is to see the Kingdom of God come in Russia as it is in heaven.
The key territorial focus is Moscow, the heart of Russia. As the Kingdom of God increasingly comes to Moscow, it will cause change across Russia and the former Soviet Union.
An important manifestation of the Kingdom of God coming to a city and nation is city and national transformation.
First and foremost, the vision is to plant a million member church in Moscow.
- Million implies quantity
- Member implies quality
This vision is in short known as MMM - Million Members in Moscow. The second stage of the vision is to build a church network primarily amongst Russian speaking people worldwide and then in others as the Lord will reveal. The corporate membership of this network of churches will eventually exceed 100 million people.
The church and church family is called Union of Christians (In Russian "Soyuz Khristian"). The Moscow church is called Union of Christians Moscow ("Soyuz Khristian Moskva"). The feature church in Novosibirsk, for example, will be called Union of Christians Novosibirsk ("Soyuz Khristian Novosibirsk").
New Union of Christian churches will be planted out of the apostolic base in Moscow. An important component of the spiritual DNA of any Union of Christians church is that it is a church planting church, thus constantly multiplying itself. The Kingdom Mountain grows from the bottom up:
- The foundational stage is prayer. Everything is birthed out of prayer.
- The Evangelism stages are Sowing, Contact and Friendship. In these stages a person is still outside the Kingdom of God.
- The Discipleship stages are illustrated by the seven colors of the rainbow, which indicates spiritual levels. As a person grows spiritually, the Kingdom of God is established IN him and THROUGH him.
- The first level - RED - where a person enters the Kingdom of God, is called the CHILDHOOD level. As we are born of the Spirit of God, we become children of God (Rom. 8:16).
- The second level - ORANGE - is when a person becomes established in Christ and in the Kingdom of God. It is called the SONSHIP level. At this stage a person is more and more lead by the Spirit of God (Rom. 8:14).
- The third level - YELLOW - is the first of five FATHERHOOD levels illustrated in the Kingdom Mountain.
- In the natural a person becomes a father when he has children. In the spiritual a person reach the fatherhood level when he starts to disciple others.
- A Christian cannot grow beyond the 3rd level without starting to disciple others. In the natural God uses our children to help us grow and develop the fruits of the Spirit. The same goes for the spiritual.
- A Christian reaches the 3rd level when the person he works with is a spiritual child (on the 1st level).
- If the Christian on level three is first generation, then the Christian on level one is second generation.
- The fourth level - GREEN - is the second of five FATHERHOOD levels.
- A Christian reaches the 4th level when the person he disciples becomes spiritually established (2nd level).
- The fifth level - BLUE - is the third of five FATHERHOOD levels illustrated in the Kingdom Mountain.
- A Christian reaches the 5th level when the person he disciples starts to disciple others, in other words when his disciples start to reach 3rd level. Thus a third spiritual generation appears (5th level first generation, 3rd level second generation, 1st level first generation).
- The sixth level - INDIGO - is the fourth of five FATHERHOOD levels illustrated in the Kingdom Mountain.
- A Christian reaches the 6th level when the person he disciples reaches the 4th level.
- The seventh level - VIOLET - is the top FATHERHOOD level illustrated in the Kingdom Mountain.
- At this level a fourth spiritual generation appears: first generation on level 7, second generation on level 5, third generation on level 3, fourth generation on level 1.
In 1 John 2:12-14, we see one of many examples in the Word of God indicating spiritual levels: children, young men (sons) and fathers.
The personal goal of any true Christian is Christlikeness. Heb. 1:3 states that Jesus is the express image of the person of the Father. As Jesus said to Philip in John 14: "If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father." It therefore follows that true Christlikeness is to truly be like the Father. We are not called to grow into spiritual CEO's but spiritual fathers. That is our goal!
Although the Kingdom Mountain illustrates only 7 spiritual levels and 4 spiritual generations, the multiplication of spiritual generations never ends. It was released with Jesus Christ and His disciples. The result today is multitudes of Christians across the nations.
The model of the Kingdom Mountain is not for the purpose of comparing Christians with each other, but for the purpose of helping a Christian to grow in the Lord.
There is no new doctrine in the illustration of the Kingdom Mountain. It simply graphically illustrates some of the most fundamental truths in the Word of God and how they interact.
The Kingdom Mountain illustrates the very foundational principles of life, whether it be natural or spiritual life. The three essentials to the appearance and multiplication of life on earth and in the spiritual realm are BIRTHING, ESTABLISHING and MULTIPLICATION.
- Jesus often used the appearance, growth and multiplication of plant life to illustrate the principles of the Kingdom. One of the prime examples is the Parable of the Sower in Matthew 13, where Jesus teaches about obstacles to the expansion of the Kingdom of God on earth.
- We see that life appears when ground receives the seed.
- Next we see that life is established when the plant grows roots.
- Finally we see that life multiplies when the fruit appears.
- In the Parable of the Sower (Mat. 13:19-23), the SEED is the Word of the Kingdom (v19). The GROUND is the heart of man.
- When the GROUND receives the KINGDOM SEED, birthing takes place.
- When the ROOTS appear and grow deeper, establishing takes place.
- When the FRUIT appear, multiplication takes place. Notice that the seed in the fruit is the same as the seed that was sown. That seed is the Word of the Kingdom. This is the very key to the spread of the Kingdom of God on earth: the Kingdom expands through fruitfulness. This revelation is the very essence of the Kingdom Mountain Vision.
The Kingdom Mountain illustrates 4 spiritual generations. In the natural we would usually see up to 4 generations together on the earth. This underlines the importance of the roles of each generation. A father's work isn't finished the moment his son has a child of his own. When the new young father has the support of his father and even his grandfather, it makes such a difference in raising his own child successfully. When multiple generations move together, it gives strength, health and depth to society.
In many places of the world, seeing multiple generations move together in order to raise the young generation is the very exception to the rule. Once true discipleship through spiritual generations is established in the church, we will see it manifest in society.
In the Kingdom Mountain illustration we see 7 spiritual levels, 4 spiritual generations and 3 spiritual processes. Although there are actually an infinite number of spiritual levels and many more spiritual generations, there are only 3 key spiritual processes - birthing, establishing and multiplication - that constantly repeat themselves.
As we clearly see, the growth of the Kingdom of God is organic. God's role in this is 99%, ours is only 1%. That 1%, though, is VERY important. It is sin to have a passive attitude towards the establishing of the Kingdom of God on earth. Mat. 11:12 states that the Kingdom is forcefully advancing and forceful men are taking hold of it. 1 Cor. 3 states that God causes it to grow, our part is the planting and watering.
Once our goal is defined - seeing the Kingdom of God come on earth as it is in heaven through fruitfulness - we need to establish indicators that measures how successful we are in moving towards our goal.
- In the area of finances and economy we have numerous indicators that help us to understand how well our company or nation's economy is doing.
- In transport we have indicators like speed, height, temperature, oil pressure, direction and so forth; many such indicators are essential to safely arrive at our destination.
- In weather different indicators tell us good rains or a terrible storm is on the way.
- Most import, numerous measures and indicators have been developed to monitor what is happening in the human body. Knowing a patient's heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, weight and sugar level greatly helps a doctor to treat him. It would be unthinkable to attempt many modern-day operations without being able to very accurately monitor a patient's condition.
- The only reason some things are extremely well monitored and some others hardly if at all, is its importance to people. The more important a certain field is to man, the more indicators are in place to measure it.
- If the church is truly as important to us as it is to God, we need to get indicators in place that help us understand how well we are actually doing in advancing the Kingdom of God on earth.
- Why do we follow the exact movement of our finances on our bank statements and auditor's reports, but we don't seem to bother about the young man that suddenly stopped attending our home group meetings two weeks ago?
- Why would people give account for every dollar spent on a crusade event but they aren't able to give account of those who responded during the crusade? (This is not a reflection on any ministry, we need to take corporate responsibility for these things.)
- Jesus Christ is completely in touch with His church:
- He speaks of the 99 sheep and the 1 lost sheep;
- He knows how many hairs are on our head;
- He told the Father in John 17:12 that He was faithful in keeping those disciples the Father had given Him out of the world (v.6).
- God has called us to live on the earth in this time of incredible challenges and huge amounts of people. Accordingly He has also provided us with great technology in this time. It is given to use for His purposes and His glory!
- Knowing a person's heart rate and temperature will never heal him. It only helps us to understand and treat that person accordingly. Likewise having indicators in place to monitor our progress in the Kingdom of God won't bring growth in itself.
Kingdom expansion is a result of prayer, evangelism and discipleship. Being able to monitor what is happening will direct and greatly inspire us to pray, evangelize and disciple in the right way!
- Our goal is moving from the very bottom of the mountain to the top of the mountain; starting of with PRAYER, progressing through the stages of SOWING, CONTACT, FRIENDSHIP and levels ONE through SEVEN of the Kingdom Mountain:
- Indicators for PRAYER
- Indicators for SOWING
- Indicators for CONTACT
- Indicators for FRIENDSHIP
- Indicators for LEVEL ONE
- Indicators for LEVEL TWO
- Indicators for LEVEL THREE
- Indicators for LEVEL FOUR
- Indicators for LEVEL FIVE
- Indicators for LEVEL SIX
- Indicators for LEVEL SEVEN
- The developing tree of discipleship relationships
- Lists showing people who are excelling in different areas.
- Time diagrams, showing any individual's time between the different levels, or progress times for different groups of people (For example the overall progress chart for men between the ages of 20 and 30).
- The three vital spiritual processes of BIRTHING, ESTABLISHING and MULTIPLICATION should be thoroughly monitored and showed and very prominently indicated.
Birthing by definition is when a person arrives at level ONE, which means that he has been born again, baptised and become a member of the church.
Establishing is when the Christian arrives at level TWO. 1John 2:14b gives us important indicators for an established person. Other indicators are being a member of a home church and regularly attending Sunday services and home church meetings.
Multiplication by definition is when a person successfully starts a Home Church (discipleship group). |
