Dear friends

After a one week holiday with almost the entire Van Niekerk family at Klein Kariba, we are now back staying at my parent's home.  This will be a working week with important meetings.  On Sunday we plan to leave for our annual family holiday at the South Coast.

Having small children, we discovered one thing: for a young child holiday is spelled b-e-a-c-h.  Don't try and change that.  Off course side dishes on the menu can include items like the crocodile farm or aquarium in Durban, but don't tamper with the main meal.

We are scheduled to return to Russia on the 21st of August.  Please stand with us in faith for finances for our tickets and visas.  For a family of five it costs about R40,000 or $5,500 to return to our home in Moscow.

We also need your prayers for us to gather all necessary documents in order to receive a residence permit in Russia.  The first step is obtaining temporary residence for 3 years, then permanent residence for 5 years, after which we can apply for citizenship.

Zoe is now 5 weeks old and a true joy to us all.  Victor and Tehillah love her and we constantly enjoy tremendous times of fellowship and laugther.   In heart we are never far away from the Moscow church plant - even Victor would often start discussing different aspects of the church plant.  By now it is an established fact in our hearts that we are going to see the biggest stadiums of Moscow filled with our Sunday meetings.

Hugo
