Dear Friends

Welcome to the Union of Christians Church!

I would like to give you some background on the history and vision of our church.

HISTORY

In 1992 God gave me a vision to see a church planted in every city, town and village in Russia.  Based on this vision Mission Russia was born. Today Mission Russia has 25 full time missionaries involved in church planting in Russia, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.

In March 1995 we moved to Russia and have been living here since then.  Our hearts truly became bonded with the Russian people.

When I received the vision for Russia, God clearly indicated to me that we were to become an integrated part of the church in Russia, joining that which the Holy Spirit was already doing.  In the year 2000, during a crusade in St. Petersburg led by Pastor Billy Joe Daugherty, I met Igor Nikitin and the ACCR family.

Eventually our hearts became so close that I was appointed ACCR overseer for the central and southern regions of Russia.  We are privileged to be part of such a wonderful family of churches.

In 1996, after being one year in Russia, God started speaking to me about planting a church in Moscow that will bring revival and transformation to Moscow and serve as an apostolic base for church planting in Russia and to the nations.  During that year my wife and I planted the 'Jesus is Lord' church in Moscow, which we pastored for 6 years before handing it over to a Russian pastor in 2002.

During those years of pastoring we gained invaluable experience and received more revelation from God on what the future city transforming church in Moscow would look like.

That day became reality when the 'Union of Christians' was officially opened on the 1st of May 2005. Now, almost 7 months later, we rejoice at seeing the Lord Jesus Himself building and blessing this church.

VISION

Our vision is based on Mat. 6:10: "Your kingdom come.  Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."  Our vision is to see the Kingdom of God established in Moscow.  The visible manifestation of that vision will be city transformation.

Our motto is HEAVEN IN EVERY HOME.

STRATEGY

Moscow is like an entire nation (with a population of more than 13 million people) with many villages (high-rise buildings).  Moscow is a city where almost everybody lives in an seemingly never-ending jungle of high-rise apartment blocks.

That is why everything we do is focused on planting home churches in those apartment blocks.  Eventually a mighty movement of home churches will weekly meet in the biggest stadiums in Moscow.
Saturdays are equipping days, when we take church members through a three-stage school of ministry to prepare them for leading their own home churches.

BRINGING THE BUILDERS TOGETHER...

When Nehemiah received the burden to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, he didn't have building material or builders to do the job.

Yet God provided!  The building material was provided when Nehemiah boldly spoke to the king and the builders came forth as Nehemiah spoke the word God has given him to the people of Jerusalem.
We are now calling people together to stand with us in building the church in Moscow.

Today there are only a few churches in this great city with more than a thousand members and maybe 20 churches with more than 100 members.  It is time for multi-thousand churches to be raised up in this city!

Dear friend, I am asking you to help spread this message far and wide, so that those who are called to have a part in this work can get in touch with us.

The Union of Christians Church in Moscow needs many friends to help us break through and become a city transforming and nation changing church.

THE HOUR HAS COME.  LET US SEIZE THE MOMENT!

In Him
