Newsflash
Looking for missionrussia.co.za? Don't worry - missionrussia.info is exactly the same site. Unfortunately, due to some software limitations, we have to restrict the Information Platform to one main domain. The missionrussia.co.za domain continues to exist, and all the .co.za e-mail addresses continue to operate, but co.za will in future automatically redirect to .info. Thanks for understanding!

Dear friends

Greetings from Moscow in Jesus' name!

ROSTOV
VISIT

I once again want to thank you for covering me in prayer during my recent visit to Rostov.  The big question is whether we will be able to plant a church in that city, which is the capital of the south of Russia.

The key to any church plant is ONE PERSON who is willing to give himself in obedience to the word of the Lord in planting a new church.  That person needs to be established in character, free of past hurts and offenses.  That person must have faith and vision, able to build and lead a team of people to care for the flock for years and decades to come.

ST. PETERSBURG
VISIT

God blessed my two-day visit to St. Petersburg, where the ACCR Union of Christians board had its monthly board meeting.  As I mentioned in my blog on the MR InfoPlat (as we’ve come to know the Mission Russia Information Platform), 300 churches from the Ukraine, as well as Russian churches in Russia, the USA, Germany and Israel now want to join our association.

Pray that we will have the wisdom of God in handling this.  A general rule of thumb is that ORGANIZATION should always follow RELATIONSHIP.  When that rule is violated, a ministry becomes shallow and vulnerable to the enemy's attacks.

UNION
OF CHRISTIANS CHURCH: PRIORITY

Let me state very clearly that our number one priority is building the Union of Christians church in Moscow.  Every other ministry in our association of churches and Mission Russia will be taken into another dimension by a strong church in Moscow.  Remember that we are talking about a church that will be much bigger than even tens of thousands...

UNION OF CHRISTIANS CHURCH: SCHOOL OF MINISTRY

The School of Ministry is now in its second phase.  The nine month school has three 3 month phases: the School of Birthing, the School of Establishing and the School of Multiplication.  God is blessing this school in a wonderful way and I am receiving constant revelation even as I am teaching.

UNION
OF CHRISTIANS CHURCH: SOUND EQUIPMENT

We need about $5,000 for the first phase of our sound equipment, which will enable us to have good sound for 300 people.  Pray that God will provide.

UNION
OF CHRISTIANS CHURCH: MEETING PLACE FOR SUNDAY SERVICES

We need a bigger and better hall for Sundays.  Agree with us for God's blessing in this.  Pray with us for God's timing in buying a building!

PREPARING FOR 6 CHURCH PLANTS AROUND ST. PETERSBURG

Dave and Frances are leading a school of ministry in St. Petersburg, working with a pastor, Ivan Sugarev.  Preparation is now taking place to plant 6 churches in villages around St. Petersburg.  Pray!

GIVING IN THE USA

People in the USA can now receive 501 3(c) tax benefits when donating to Mission Russia.  For more details, feel free to
contact me.

OUR VISION AND STRATEGY: THE KINGDOM MOUNTAIN

For an explanation of our vision (WHERE we are going) and strategy (HOW we are doing it), visit the MR InfoPlat at
http://www.missionrussia.co.za and click on the different segments of the Kingdom Mountain (front page).

MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME!

I want to encourage you to register as a member on the InfoPlat, use the different functions, sign the guest book and participate in the forums.

Remember that the InfoPlat is a common platform that we share in cyber space to communicate and fellowship, enabling us to BUILD together, MOVE together and WIN together.

EVANGELISM PROJECT IN 2006: WATCH THIS SPACE...

Apart from Christian television, where we might break through at any moment in Moscow, we are planning to launch yet another evangelism project in 2006.
Watch this space for details!

May God bless you as we are fast approaching the international celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Let's lift up the name of the King!

With love from Russia
