It's with great joy that we can announce that Creare Ministries International will start a full-time training base in Moscow in 2006. Christina Mentz from Creare Ministries International, South Africa, who has already lived in Russia for two years, will be the leader of the school. Kelly Knoesen and Jolene du Plessis will soon join her from South Africa. Jaco Ackerman will also join them a little later in the year after initial work in Samara at a Bible School.
Since 2000 Creare has been ministering in Russia, with Rika and the Arts vision that God gave her 5 years ago. Rika & Hugo will serve as Pastoral overseers of the school.
A few things are needed for the planting of this base. We will start by renting a small flat that has a lounge big enough to give most of the classes. Renting buildings are very expensive in Moscow, and we'd like to keep the costs low so that the students can afford the school. We will rent a hall for the dance classes and will save class fees for this purpose. Therefore we would like to ask sponsorships for this flat. If this cost can be covered for at least the first year of establishment, we would be able to invest the class fees into other expenses of the school. As soon as there are enough students in the school to cover these costs, we can move to the next step. The cost of this flat is $750 per month. It has 2 rooms, a large lounge, and an entrance hall big enough for office space. We also need a computer for communication, admin and data.
Many of you might not know who and what Creare is. We are a department under “Dad’s place my home” which serves in church planting, ministering to pastor’s kids, children’s ministry, etc. Creare is a Music, Drama, Dance, Art, Multi Media, Skills, Prophetic and Word school. The word Creare is Latin and means to create, to bring forth, to produce, to give life. The school started 11 years ago in Bloemfontein with Pastor Cornelis van Heyningin as Dean. Creare submits under Agape Ministries International in Bloemfontein. In Moscow we will submit under the church “Union of Christians” that is Pastored by Hugo & Rika van Niekerk.
The vision of Creare is: Disciple passionate worshippers who are able to express their intimate love for God creatively. Train church and ministry leaders and breakthrough believers (full time & part time) from all nations. Plant creative schools (Arts, Media, Prophetic, Worship, Word) locally and internationally. Build effective creative worship, prophetic, evangelistic, children and youth teams in local churches. Activate potential in all the above in local churches and release key people in key places. Reach the nations creatively in the perspective of their redemptive destiny. Enjoy a lifestyle of fulfilment in God’s presence as your Home.
