Question Two (Catching Heavenly Vision): "WHAT?" or "WHERE TO?"

In Gen. 1:28 we found the basis for the answer to our vision, strategy and resources.  Understanding this will propel us into new dimensions in our lives that we've only dreamt about.

In Mat. 1:28 we read that God's vision for man was, and still is DOMINION.  God says: "Have dominion!"  Man was called to reign on this earth in the Name of God, so it is all about taking dominion in the Name of God on behalf of God.

We can only have authority and rule and reign to the measure that we ourselves submit to God.  This is what the centurion in Mat. 8 so clearly understood.

The key to authority is submission.  We humble ourselves before God and He lifts us up (James 4:10, 1 Pet. 5:6).  As long as Adam and Eve fully submitted to God, they had dominion and paradise continued.  The moment they submitted to Satan and therefore rebelled against God, they lost that dominion.

A person's dominion is his kingdom.  True dominion is about the kingdom of God.

God's command to man to rule and reign in His Name has never changed.  As we now proclaim the kingdom of God and people receive that word of the Kingdom (Mat. 13:19), the dominion of God is spread across the earth.

Therefore we see that our vision - where we are going - is all about the kingdom of God.  Jesus says in Mat. 6:33: "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

It is all about the Kingdom.  Let it become your passion that will consume any other worldly desire in you.  Jesus says: "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. (Mat. 13:44)  In Mat. 13:45,46 Jesus says that the Kingdom is a pearl of great price.

Let the glorious kingdom of God become your vision and life!
