Faith Works – News From Corrie And Olesya
Dear Friend
Yes! Faith works!
Heb 11:1 NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
The proof of this Biblical truth and the proof of God’s faithfulness – in the photo you can see Olesya standing with the Chevrolet Lanos God has provided. I told you before that God said we will receive the car only through faith. Because of the word God gave us, we booked the car when we did not have the money to pay for it. Up till now I still cannot calculate the total cost and I don’t know where all the money came from. There were so many things we had to pay at different places and every time the money was available. If I knew about all the extra costs, we probably would not have started. But, God is faithful! We thank all of you who contributed. Already we can see how the car has taken our ministry into a new dimension.
Motivization!

We can still see the fruit of the Motivization conference – the movement to equip and train young people in the Body of Christ. We met some of the young people who participated and they are still excited about what God has done in their lives. They are praying for and preaching to the young people in their respective cities. They came to us and asked for more and regular follow-up Motivization conferences. They are so hunger to be better equipped. Please pray with us that we will know how God wants to use us to minister to these precious young leaders in the Russian church. See attached some photos of the last conference.
Rasa Church
We are very blessed with our family of believers here at Rasa church in Moscow. This past Sunday Olesya and I ministered at the teenager service about depression and suicide. The Holy Spirit really touched the children’s lives and set them free from different bondages and healed many hurts. We already heard testimonies of teenagers whose lives have been changed.
Olesya and I are on the leadership team for this youth ministry. Our numbers have grown since we started with services in the beginning of last year and we are praying for strategy for the way forward. We are praying for wisdom on how we can minister to these young people effectively. We do not just want to run services, but we want to disciple each and every one in the way Jesus showed us and called us to do. This weekend, from Friday to Saturday, we will meet with the whole ministry team to pray and make decisions about future ministry. Please pray with us that we will be in unity and that we will make decisions only according to His plan for the ministry.
Olesya
Olesya is in the final stretch with her studies. After five and a half years of studies, she will write her final exam on 18 October and then she has to make a presentation to a committee on 25 October who will decide whether she qualifies as a speech therapist or not. Yes, both days are on a Sunday and you can see that they don’t treat Sundays much different from other days. Olesya is working hard and she has a lot of peace going into the final week of preparation.
We thank you for your love and support. We experience the power of prayer. You are very precious to us.
With lots of love,
Corrie and Olesya
