News From Hugo – Ministry In Russia And Ukraine

Dear Friends,

Hugo MinisteringIn a few hours’ time we will be on our way to a youth conference in the city of Kursk, 600 km to the south of Moscow. We will be a team of eight people, including 3 young ministers from South Africa, one of the youth of our church, my friend Sergei Filininyov, and Masha and Ira, the leaders of Creare Russia.

We are also looking forward to meeting up in Kursk with one of our Mission Russia missionaries, Maryna Vos. Pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to bless and transform the youth of Kursk.

Two weeks ago I visited the local church in Likino-Dulyova to the east of Moscow. God blessed our meeting and I believe we have started to receive strategy from heaven to take that church to a new level. The church is still very small, but we pray that the mustard seed will grow into a large, beautiful Kingdom tree.

Thank you for praying for our ministry in the Ukraine. We teamed up with great ministers like Hennie and Katie van Loggerenberg (Liveschool CIS), Willie and Lydia Crew (Liveschool and World Mission Center leaders) and Eddy O’Neill from Kingdom Ministries.

After ministering in Dneprderzhinsk, we traveled down to the Crimea where we hosted a conference for pastors and missionaries. The Lord really blessed that conference in a beautiful way. One fruit of this conference is that 60 missionaries have gone out to minister in previously unreached muslim villages in the Crimea.

Please also pray for Leigh and John, pastors from from England, who will join us in Russia to minister in the Regions around Rostov (south of Russia), Omsk (West Siberia) and Khabarovsk (Far East of Russia). I will also write more on their trip in my next message to you. As you pray for ministry in these cities, I want to suggest that you buy a map of Russia or simply Google these cities to get and idea of what they look like.

Once again I want to remind you that as children of God we are part of His PRESENT Kingdom which He is establishing in us and through us. In the remaining time that we have left on this earth, let us run with all our hearts to fullfil His calling on our lives.

With love from Russia,

Hugo
