The Season of the Bride

“The Spirit and the Bride (the church of Jesus Christ) say ‘Come’!” (Rev 22:17)

In 2008 God sent us from the west to the far east of Russia to raise up His Bride.  It was a time of entering into His presence with worship, dance and prophetic intercession, releasing the sound of heaven over the nation!

When we entered into His presence, the corporate anointing of heavenly worship, warfare dance and prophetic intercession opened the heavens and transformed our hearts and minds.  We were transformed into the Bride of Christ!

For a very long time I thought that the whole church is the Bride of Christ.  But before the journey the Lord asked me ‘At which moment do you become a Bride?’.  The moment that you say ‘yes’ to the one who courted you.  When a lady says ‘yes’, she also agrees to leave her life as she lived it and enter into a new life in partnership with her husband-to-be.

Maybe you have been a believer for many years but have you ever said ‘Yes’ to Jesus, your Bridegroom God, with the intention to leave your old way of living and entering into a life of partnership with Him?

Those who do say ‘Yes’ will discover Who Jesus really wants to be for them and who they really are as His beautiful Bride.

It is a time of moving with Him through the power of the Holy Spirit.

In Rev 22:17 it says ‘And the Spirit and the Bride say ‘Come’!’.  It doesn’t say the Spirit and the church, or the Spirit and the pastors!  It speaks of our position as believers if we want to bring in the end-time harvest.  We need to be the Bride in this time!

Why the Bride?

1.    A bride is passionate about her Bridegroom

We need to be passionate about Jesus Christ in this time otherwise we will easily believe the lies and deceptions that are increasing all around us.  The enemy is launching a full attack to pull the believers down and destroy their faith!  That is why David says in Ps 97:10 we need to be lovers of God and haters of evil.

2.    A bride believes in her Bridegroom

All across the nations I discover many strong believers questioning whether Jesus really is Whom we believed He is for all these years.  Be aware!  The enemy is sowing many seeds of doubt on every level of society.  Don’t submit to His lies!  We know that Jesus is the Truth, He is the Way and He is Life!  Don’t give up on your faith, but stand even stronger against this attack.

I just received a report from someone who works with a network of churches in Russia, and everywhere she goes the churches report that many are leaving the church.

It is a time that the sheep will be seperated from the goats.  A sheep is someone who knows his shepherd and follows him wherever He leads him.  You are one of His sheep!  He said ‘I called you by name!  You are mine!’

3.     A bride comes under the protection and covering of the Bridegroom

In the past we could get away doing and accomplishing many things in our own power(the power of  our will, mind, positive thinking).  It will not be enough to get you through this season!  You need to be in total surrender to God and allow the Holy Spirit to be the power within you. The Word says ‘He that is in Me is greater than he that is in the world’.  If you believe that, you will overcome by the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.

4.     A bride has a future and she is filled with joy, love and expectation!

The enemy is currently attacking many families and friendship relationships, because he knows the power of Godly relationships filled with love and respect.  Love enables us to see what God sees when He looks at a person.  The enemy will do everything in his power to stop your love for others so that he can break down that truth in you in order to bring division and seperation which will weaken your walk with God and disalign you with God’s plan for your life.

When we choose love, we choose God Himself, because He IS LOVE!  When we choose to love, we invite the supernatural, overcoming power of God into the situation.  Ask God to give you His love in a situation, because only His love is sufficient to make us overcome.

Say ‘Yes’ to your Bridegroom Jesus Christ and allow Him to make you His true Bride!  Allow the Holy Spirit to fill your heart with love and change the way you look at things and the way you speak.
Becoming a Bride takes you to another level of maturity and authority.

The Word of God says that ‘the harvest is at the end of the age’.  The harvest is ready when the plant reached maturity.  It is not only the wheat that reached maturity but also the tares.  We already experience the evil rising up in full maturity and he will come against you in full maturity!  We need to mature in Christ so that we will be able to withstand his onslaught.

Jesus wants to draw us to Him so that we can run with Him!  (Songs of Solomon 1)
