Good morning dear Friends
Olesya is a qualified Speech Therapist!!
She finished the last presentation with excellent grades. She keeps testifying of God’s grace over nearly six years of study. Obviously she is very relieved that it is all over and now we are praying about the next steps to know where God wants to use her in future. We thank you all for your prayers, support and messages of encouragement.

We will be a team of eight people, including 3 young ministers from South Africa, one of the youth of our church, my friend Sergei Filininyov, and Masha and Ira, the leaders of Creare Russia.
We are also looking forward to meeting up in Kursk with one of our Mission Russia missionaries, Maryna Vos. Pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to bless and transform the youth of Kursk.

This is “hi” to you, our dear friends, from the missionaries – in UKRAINE now!
Grace To You & Peace From God Our Father And The Lord Jesus Christ.
I consider myself to be very thorough, diligent and careful and yet I made so made so many mistakes over the last few months. We eventually came to the conclusion that God was somehow in this & wherever we found ourselves, was where He wanted us to be and with who He wanted us to be with.

July 2009 Newsletter from Dave and Frances
Posted on July 1, 2009
Hi from Sholkova (Near Moscow),
We arrived back in Russia on the 27th June, 4 days ago. It is great to be back home having been away for three months. We have just returned from Armenia, so most of this newsletter will be a report back on our ministry there.
On Route to Armenia
We had to order wheelchairs to take Frances through the airports on route to Armenia because of the bunion operation on her foot. We were given priority treatment all the way, never had to stand in queues and given special favors at all the airports. We flew from Johannesburg to Dubai, Dubai to London and from London to Yerevan in Armenia. From Dubai to London, we flew on the worlds largest airline, the Airbus A380. There were 800 passengers on board. After 30 long hours we finally arrived in Armenia.

MISRUSYOUTH Newsletter

Friends
Greetings from Moscow!!
I was just reminded this week that we are still in Russia. Wednesday was the first day after winter warm enough to wear only a short sleeved shirt only to wake up Thursday morning looking at beautiful snow falling outside and freezing temperatures.
I thank you for your prayers last week. I enjoyed the preaching in the church and we had a wonderful time in God’s presence and I believe that God touched a lot of hearts.

Update From Dave And Frances
Posted on March 7, 2009
Hi from Moscow,
The weather is beginning to warm up. Today the temperature has risen to about 0 degrees. In about a month we will begin to see the end of winter and the coming of spring. Spring time in Russia is a wonderful season. It happens so fast. For months and months everything is grey and colorless then almost overnight everything turns green.
On the 26th February we traveled by train to Lysva, which lies in the Urals. We held a number of meetings and also spent time with the leaders. On Saturday 28th we held two seminars. There was a great move of the Holy Spirit and many opened their hearts to receive a fresh encounter with the Holy Spirit. During this time I was struggling with quite a bad dose of flu. However, I preached on Sunday morning service and two people received the Lord. Despite the fact that I felt as sick as a dog, we were whisked off to pray for many people. The first one was a severely demonized young man, the second for a young boy who was an invalid and the third for a young girl who was paralyzed in a car accident.

From Bosnia – The Power Of Prayer
Posted on February 12, 2009
Good day from Bosnia!
The Lord has been dealing very much with me regarding the Truth and religion, serving Him with clean hands, clean lips and a clean heart.
I am experiencing much opposition from the Pentecostal church with whom I am connected. They have had some bad experiences with missionaries who came to Sarajevo. People whom they trusted, who promised the world and then behaved badly and then disappointed them so much. This resulted in all doors being closed and coldness towards new missionaries. This rejection was not directed at me personally, but I did experience it very much and had a hard time to keep on loving and forgiving them, remembering that their names too, are written in the Hand palms of our Master. Most short term missionaries (3 months at a time) come here with pockets full of money, spoiling the church. It was my opinion, that every missionary who comes to Sarajevo had to pay the way, to be accepted. This was one door, through which I could not and would not enter.

From Maryna In Kursk (Must Read!)
Posted on November 23, 2007
Here’s a VERY inspirational letter from Maryna Vos who is our missionary in Kursk (situated about 10 hours south of Moscow by train – it’s a university city with a very rich history.):
Hello Hugo and Rika,
I found a very pleasant apartment to live in at a much better price, nice and spacious and in a much better place. It has a valid contract and probably I will be able to move there on Saturday. Mmm what a wonderful number of souls to come in!!! This is such a tremendous birthday gift from our Father.
