Hello Friend

It is Spring-time!! The temperatures have risen just above 0 degrees Centigrade and the snow has started to melt.

We had a wonderful time of ministering this last Sunday at Rasa church’s teenager service. We are in awe of what God is doing in the group.

Monday and Tuesday we attended a conference for church pastors just outside of Moscow. There we were also encouraged to see what God is doing in different churches in Russia.

Heartbreak in India

Posted on January 29, 2010

This is not news from Russia, but cause for prayer nevertheless since these are our brothers and sisters in the Lord: 14 pastors were killed yesterday (28 January 2010) at Raikia in the Indian state of Orissa. One pastor, R.K. Digal, was burnt to death.

Please pray for the loved ones and flock of these martyred Christians. Please pray also for millions of Christians that fear for their lives every day. Pray for Orissa state and for India.

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” (Joh 15:18,19)

Do You Really Think I Love Jesus?

Posted on January 29, 2010

Dear Brother and Sister

Do you really think I love Jesus?

Do I love Jesus if I am still so much engaged in securing my own comfort and future – striving to fulfill my own desires while I walk amongst millions of dead people, destined for eternal destruction?

If I really love Jesus I would share His passion and we know to what heights His passion took Him – on top of the cross, on top of Golgotha where He gave up His everything so that others can be saved.

Do I have the same passion as Jesus?

This was the question I was confronted with over and over again when we visited Egypt and the cold parts of Russia recently.

Kursk Youth Conference And Other News

Posted on October 21, 2009

Hugo ministering to a new convertGreetings from Moscow in Jesus’ name!

The Lord has greatly blessed the youth conference in Kursk. I am so blessed by the A-Team from South Africa: Mathys, JC and Marcel. Anointed, focused and humble ministers with a tremendous future of ministry ahead of them.

The Lord blessed the conference with great worship, strong word, healings, prophecy and various gifts of the Holy Spirit. Team ministry releases the corporate anointing!

Ministering to youthIt was great to see Mission Russia missionary Maryna Vos in Kursk. She is a real mother to the youth of that city.

All-in-all we were a team of eight people from Moscow, each moving in his specific gifting. What a joy!

ARMENIA
Tomorrow morning I will be flying to Erevan, the capital of Armenia, where Elza from Moreleta Church from Pretoria and her team will meet up with us.

We will then go to Artashat, a city in the foothills of Mt. Ararat, where the conference Elza and I will host will begin on Thursday and finish on Sunday. On Sunday I will already leave Artashat for Erevan, to preach at a church led by an Iranian apostle.

Faith Works – News From Corrie And Olesya

Posted on October 10, 2009

Dear Friend

Yes! Faith works!

Heb 11:1  NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Olesya with our car!The proof of this Biblical truth and the proof of God’s faithfulness – in the photo you can see Olesya standing with the Chevrolet Lanos God has provided. I told you before that God said we will receive the car only through faith. Because of the word God gave us, we booked the car when we did not have the money to pay for it. Up till now I still cannot calculate the total cost and I don’t know where all the money came from. There were so many things we had to pay at different places and every time the money was available. If I knew about all the extra costs, we probably would not have started. But, God is faithful! We thank all of you who contributed. Already we can see how the car has taken our ministry into a new dimension.

Visit To Likino-Dulyova

Posted on October 2, 2009

Dear Friends,

Please pray for my visit to Likino-Dulyova, a city to the east of Moscow. This city is close to Orekhovo Zuevo, which is known as a major center for distributing drugs.

I hope to soon give you feedback on my ministry trip to the Ukraine and Crimea.

May the Holy Spirit continue to give us all deeper revelation of the truth that the living, reigning, resurrected, glorious Christ is living in us, His children. Christ in us, the hope of glory!

In Him,
Hugo

Greetings From St. Petersburg

Dear Friends

Saint PetersburgWith great excitement in our hearts we are writing to you from our new home in Russia’s northern capital!  We are so thankful for your prayers and the measure of grace we’ve experienced in planting Hope Church, St. Petersburg.

In 1703 St. Petersburg was built to be Russia’s greatest city and a gateway into Europe.  Today it is a bustling, lively hub of 5 million, full of young people and host to many people groups from many different nations.  It is a city of influence, potential and beauty.

We are here to see a great new city church planted.  We have a burning passion to plant a church that will be radically mission minded and encourage other churches in Russia to take hands and be a part of what God is doing in the nations.  Gathering from the hordes of students and young professionals, relevant to families and yet accessible to the city’s diversity of rich and poor.  We long to see a multicultural family built together reflecting the glory of Jesus, enjoying his presence and as a living testimony to his immeasurable grace in a land that has historically suffered under intense oppression.

Our church logo:  Hope Church – Bringing hope to the City and beyond through the love of Christ.

World Prayer Center Breaking News

Posted on September 16, 2009

Bride, Mountain & Horse“And all your [spiritual] children shall be disciples [taught by the Lord and obedient to His will], and great shall be the peace and undisturbed composure of your children.” (Isaiah 54:13 Amp)

My team in Russia mostly consist of people who attended the first prayer school in Moscow in 2004, or came in contact with me at about the same time.  I started the strategic prayer group shortly after the completion of the school.

We have been together for 5 years now and God taught us during these years how to be in a love relationship with Him and with one another.  All ministry flows from our love relationship with the Lord and our love and trust relationship with one another.  Many came, went, and came back again.  There are others that I pray will still return.  Then there are the thousands that we believe will still be added until Russia is a House of Prayer!

Many of these are like my children entrusted by God to me for a season.  I love them like my own!  What an absolute reward it is to me to have seen them as babies maturing into the beautiful Bride of Christ and now being transformed into the Warrior Bride of Christ, the Army of God!

The Year 5770 – Carol Singleton

The Year 5770: A Season of AYIN (His eye will guide)!
Chuck Pierce

Open HeavenWe are entering a season of occupying our inheritance, digging new wells, and entering the “Tent” to tabernacle with our God. The Hebraic letter, Ayin, is also the number 70. Prepare to cross over into the “head” of the Hebraic year, receive power to war for breakthrough and find new wells of life.

We are not entering a peaceful season. This season is supernatural! God’s people must leave “religion” and their natural way of battle and enter this supernatural season with sharpened weapons. This is a season of breaking new ground. When you look at the symbol for AYIN, you can see the necessary action for breakthrough. You must extend your hand through the darkness and into the heavenlies. At that point, the Lord will give you strength by touching you with His HAND. He will release the Sword of Revelation that will connect with you to do war. This will be the battle of the EYES. You will battle with MAMMON in the next years. You will battle dark watchers and “dark pools”. This will be a season where we battle with occult structures that are attempting to rule the earth realm and keep us from unlocking new resources. I hear the Lord saying:
