Hugo, Rika and children are almost on their way again back to Russia – God is good! And we trust that the newsletters will come more often again. The time they had to be in South Africa has been perfectly organized by the Lord. We praise Him for it.
Thank you very much indeed for your faithful love and support of every kind! The Lord is doing great things in SA and in Russia. Hugo is especially thankful that the church in Moscow is growing even though they are not there!
On Sunday the 26th of July Hugo preached at Lewende Woord Church in Pretoria on Covering South Africa with the Glory of the Lord. You are very welcome to use the sermon. Prophetic Conference – The Coming Glory Of The Lord

An Apostolic Prophetic Conference is to be held at Lewende Woord (Living Word) Church in Brummeria, Pretoria, South Africa from the 15th to the 18th of August 2009. The theme of the conference is The Coming Glory Of The Lord. The speakers are Randy Clark (USA), Harold Weitz and Benjamin Arde. Other speakers include Dr. Johan Carstens, Gary Kieswetter, Hugo van Niekerk (overseer of Mission Russia & pastor of Kingdom of Heaven Church in Moscow), Dr. Chuck Day, Marno Boshoff, Nevil Norden (senior pastor of Lewende Woord Church) and Mario Steyn (a pastor of Lewende Woord Church).

The Season of the Bride

“The Spirit and the Bride (the church of Jesus Christ) say ‘Come’!” (Rev 22:17)
In 2008 God sent us from the west to the far east of Russia to raise up His Bride. It was a time of entering into His presence with worship, dance and prophetic intercession, releasing the sound of heaven over the nation!
When we entered into His presence, the corporate anointing of heavenly worship, warfare dance and prophetic intercession opened the heavens and transformed our hearts and minds. We were transformed into the Bride of Christ!
For a very long time I thought that the whole church is the Bride of Christ. But before the journey the Lord asked me ‘At which moment do you become a Bride?’. The moment that you say ‘yes’ to the one who courted you. When a lady says ‘yes’, she also agrees to leave her life as she lived it and enter into a new life in partnership with her husband-to-be.

Dear Friends,
Greetings from Moscow in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ!
What a grand start to our new season in Moscow! After arriving back in Russia on Friday evening, we today had a wonderful and anointed service which at the same time was Andre and Olya’s wedding.
As you might well remember, Olya has been on our team for about a decade now, and she is now already serving with me as assistant pastor in our Union of Christians Moscow Church.
What a great service! What a beautiful wedding! Before the service I told our worship team that I wasn’t looking for a ‘correct’ service, because the world has already had enough of that. What we are pursuing is a ‘Holy Spirit’ service, where everything that we do is born of the Spirit of God. Whatever is born of the Spirit will always grow and multiply, give life and produce fruit. This is to our Father’s glory, that we will bear much fruit, fruit that will last.
Your Tongue, Your Future

Very few Christians understand what power they have in their tongues – the power to hurt and destroy or the power to heal and build in Jesus’ name.
What you say today is what you will be tomorrow.
1 Pet. 3:10 “… He who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit…”
Prov. 21:23 “Whoever guards his mouth and tongue deeps his soul from troubles.”
Prov. 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
