GOVERNMENT OF GOD

“...I will shake the heavens and the earth. And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the [ungodly] nations, and I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them, and the horses and their riders shall go down, every one by the sword of his brother.” Haggai 2:21-22

“And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heavens shall be given to the people of the saints fo the Most High; His Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.” Daniel 7:27

“Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from the time forth, even forevermore.  The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.” Isaiah 9:7

We are living in a time where we are faced with many issues and problems that are experienced on a global scale. Therefore we need to take our position on a global level to be able to come against the works(global) of the enemy.  The financial crisis, diseases like the swine flu, forced us onto a global level.  Praise God, He has given us that global position as ambassadors of the Kingdom of God.

The Word of God says that ‘all dominions shall serve and obey Him’ and therefore they will serve His Kingdom.  If we believe that the dominions and kingdoms of this earth will serve the Kingdom of God, then we will have to be in the right mindset and position.  The dominions of the world will not serve victims (those who have a victim spirit and just live in reaction to the attacks of the enemy), they will serve victors (those who rule and reign with Jesus Christ from the throne room of heaven!).

Once, while praying during a difficult time in my life, I felt the Lord saying to me that ‘these difficult situations are not for my destruction, but it is to teach me how to fight and how to obtain victory, so that I can rule and reign with Him’.  Since then, my attitude toward difficult situations changed completely.

My heavenly Father doesn’t want to destroy me, but He longs for me to rule and reign with Him and He will allow things to come my way in order to teach me how to fight so that He can multiply His authority in me.

Change your attitude toward problems and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you how to rule and reign.  God’s blessings didn’t change with the financial or any other crisis.  In fact, He is the God of the impossible, and we are daily faced with situations where a positive outcome seems impossible.  Bring your impossibilities before the Lord and allow Him to be the God of the impossible for you.

Remember, God doesn’t answer prayer, He answers prayer offered in FAITH!

PRAISE REPORT!

I was in South Africa for a few weeks and visited my mom to tend to her, because she was in a very bad condition when I left Russia.  Where a health system couldn’t help, I once again saw God, our Healer, doing a miracle as her healed and strenghtened her day by day!  They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on Sunday, the 5th of April, and she was strong enough to go with us to church and afterwards to a restaurant to celebrate.  And she is just getting stronger and stronger every day, praising Him for His grace and mercy on her!

Thank you for your encouragement and your prayers for her.  My heart is filled with gratefulness and love for a heavenly Father Who can breakthrough and release new life when we nearly accepted death as the only answer.  Thank you, Lord!

SMOLENSK WORLD PRAYER CENTER

“All these I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer.  Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.” Isaiah 56:7

On Sunday the 22nd of March, a group of 7 people drove from Smolensk to Moscow(700km) to be part of the establishing of the Smolensk World Prayer Center.

These are people that have been ‘pregnant’ with the vision of a prayer center in Smolensk for many years.  But this was God’s time for it!  Sergei and Tanya Maslak, Marat(Armenian) and his wife, Olja, Alya and her husband, Dima, and Natasha (who has been part of my prayer group for years).  They have a fire in their hearts for their city and their nation, and they love God!

We spoke about the strategy to start in Smolensk and then I anointed them with oil and blessed them as the official team who will lead this prayer center in the spiritual gate of Russia, Smolensk.  It was an awesome time in God’s presence!

The next morning they left for Smolensk again.  I am so blessed by their zeal and commitment, that they are willing to drive 1400km just to be anointed, blessed and released!  I praise God for the fire in their hearts and the privilege to work with people like this.

Please pray for these people for Godly wisdom and revelation in the way that they need to set up the prayer center.  Pray for favor with the churches in the city and pray that they will carry God’s vision in their hearts without compromising on it.

GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER
31st of May 2009

We will participate in a prayer meeting in Smolensk this year.  We feel that it is important for religious freedom in Russia to stand and pray in the spiritual gate of Russia.  A few days before the Global Day of Prayer we want to meet with the pastors of the city and surrounding region to introduce them to the Smolensk World Prayer Center.

Please pray that this city will always be open for the righteous to come in.  Pray for the pastors that they will recognize and embrace what God wants to do in this season.  Pray for restoration and trust in the relationships between the churches and pastors.

I praise God for each one of you who imparted so much love and care to the nations through your prayers.  May God connect you with the harvest of your seeds in His own beautiful way.  Thank you for your constant and growing love for the Lord.  I thank you for being part of my life, you are treasures and a gift from God to me.

I bless you with the beauty and the power of His love in you life, in the Name of Jesus.  I bless you to daily experience the breakthrough power of His love in the situations that you are faced with.  Love broke through the gates of hell to set us free, and it can be so in your every day life.  Choose love!
